  • Are there combined discounts?

    From 10 participants there is a combined discount of 10%

  • Can I also pay the examination fee in installments?

    Yes. We offer the possibility that you can pay in 2-4 installments.

  • Are there processing fees or interest when paying in installments?

    We do NOT charge any processing fees or interest.

  • What if I don't pass the exam?

    You can take the exam as often as you like until you pass it.

  • Are there additional examination costs?

    Yes. It is charged between €180 and €200 per external examination. The examination fees are transferred directly to our certification body APV GmbH.

  • What is NiSV FACHKUNDE?

    On January 1st, 2021, the "Ordinance on the protection against harmful effects of non-ionizing radiation when used on humans" came into force - which is abbreviated to NiSV. It regulates the handling of devices that emit non-ionizing radiation. Since many cosmetic treatment devices that are often used in non-medical practitioners and cosmetic studios are included, the NiSV may also affect all beauticians and non-medical practitioners.

  • Why is NiSV proof important?

    According to the NiSV, as a beautician/alternative practitioner, from January 1st, 2022 you must be able to present a successfully completed certificate of specialist knowledge through a special NiSV training course in order to be allowed to use certain cosmetic treatment devices. The aim is to protect customers from damage if the radiation is used incorrectly.

  • For which devices do I need NiSV training?

    * IPL-SHR devices aiming at an effect on the target tissue

  • For which devices do I NOT need NiSV training?

    - Microdermabrasion

  • Which devices are cosmeticians and non-medical practitioners no longer allowed to use?

    - Ablative laser applications, such as tattoo removal or laser treatments for vascular or pigment changes

  • Does every beautician and naturopath have to attend a NiSV training course?

    Anyone who operates one of the devices or intends to continue operating it needs their own certificate of specialist qualification.

  • Are there penalties for missing proof of professional qualification?

    Anyone who continues to use devices that are affected by the NiSV from January 1st, 2023 without proof of specialist qualifications must expect a fine of up to €50,000.
